Abstract:Objetivo. Evaluar la importancia de las biopsias óseas en el diagnóstico de las enfermedades óseas metabólicas, su relación con la densitometría ósea (DMO) y los biomarcadores. Métodos. Estudio transversal, descriptivo. Se efectuaron biopsias de la cresta pelviana a 38 personas, 36 mujeres (34 menopáusicas y 2 premenopáusicas) y 2 varones.
