Abstract: Luminescent radicals are attracting attention as emitters in electroluminescent devices thanks to the exploitation of doublet excitons. Recent studies reveal that exciton formation in radical organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs) primarily occurs through a charge trapping mechanism.
