“…This expression has been used to get a broad insight of different flux pinning mechanisms with different p and q values of the superconductors . Most reports indicate that the flux pinning force of pure MgB 2 comes from the flux line shear with the normal surface pinning centers, , the grain boundaries, with p = 1 / 2 and q = 2 and the peak position near h = 0.2. Most nano particle doping in MgB 2 modify the p values to 1 with the peak position near h = 0.33 in the f p vs h curve, corresponding to normal point pinning. , Figure f compares the normalized flux pinning force with the standard normal surface pinning model and normal point pinning.…”

“…It is well known that additives and dopants such as carbon in various forms, Ti, Cu, Fe, SiC and others result in a great degradation of T c . The MgB 2 prepared from the ultra-sonicated boron is a high-quality superconductor, free of impurities from solvents [19,121,146,157,158]. This is an advantage concerning ball milling, where carbon, oxygen etc.…”

“…Substitution at the Mg site, B site, or the addition of other elements/ compounds to the MgB2 has been carried out. Partial substitutions of Ti, Zn, Cu, Al for Mg site [3][4][5][6] have been carried out, including the addition of CNTs, nano-carbon, for B site [4,7,8]. Some reports have indicated that the carbon substitution at B site is effective to improve the superconductivity properties [9,10].…”
