Abstract:Shen et al ’s retrospective study aims to compare the utility of two separate scoring systems for predicting mortality attributable to gastrointestinal (GI) injury in critically ill patients [the GI Dysfunction Score (GIDS) and the Acute Gastrointestinal Injury (AGI) grade].
