Improving hydroacoustic sampling in large rivers: Evaluating factors influencing target detectability

Abstract: Mobile hydroacoustic sampling is increasingly being used to monitor fish populations in large rivers; however, several factors may influence the ability to sample fishes with this gear in these environments.
