Abstract:Various ash removal schemes from the hopper ash collector to such transportation devices as hydraulic ash disposal channels, are analyzed. The drawbacks of these schemes are: high flow rates of flush water, gas flows through common ash gutters between bunkers of different pressure, and clogging of ash flows.
