Abstract:Higher spatial resolution indicates sharper recognition ability in applications. To improve the spatial resolution of volume Bragg grating spectral imagers, quantitative wave vector theory is used to elucidate the formation mechanism of diffraction blur, and the corresponding optimal design approaches are put forward. The simulation results show that the main factors for the spectral image blur are the chromatic blur and diffraction aberration, while the central wavelength deviation further deteriorates these.… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
