Abstract: To combat the rise in antibiotic resistance, new targets must be identified and probes against them developed. Protein‐protein interactions (PPI) of bacterial type II fatty acid biosynthesis (FAS‐II) represent an untapped, yet rich area for new antibiotic discovery.
