In situ sprayed NIR-responsive, analgesic black phosphorus-based gel for diabetic ulcer treatment

Abstract: The treatment of diabetic ulcer (DU) remains a major clinical challenge due to the complex wound-healing milieu that features chronic wounds, impaired angiogenesis, persistent pain, bacterial infection, and exacerbated inflammation. A strategy that effectively targets all these issues has proven elusive. Herein, we use a smart black phosphorus (BP)-based gel with the characteristics of rapid formation and near-infrared light (NIR) responsiveness to address these problems. The in situ sprayed BP-based gel could… Show more

“…In addition, the enhanced synergistic effect of PTX and CUR that was mediated by HA-PAAVB NPs could inhibit primary breast cancer growth and their lung metastasis. Therefore, the intelligent drug delivery system [ [75] , [76] , [77] , [78] , [79] , [80] , [81] , [82] , [83] , [84] ] based PAAVB copolymer presented in this paper could provide an effective platform that combines chemo- and immune-therapeutics for fighting against various malignant tumors.…”

“…Xenes have good membrane permeability, excellent biocompatibility, large specific surface area and easy surface modification, so they can interact with bacterial membranes better and improve antibacterial effect distinctly. At present, great progress has been made in the development of Xenes based antibacterial agents [ 29 , 30 ]. For instance, Sun et al employed BP nanosheets as an antibacterial agent to against gram-negative escherichia coli (E. coli) and gram-positive staphylococcus aureus (S. aureas) by means of 808 nm irradiation [ 116 ].…”

“…Additionally, liquid-phase exfoliation is also a classic top-down method of preparing 2D nanomaterials, and many 2D nanomaterials fabricated through liquid-phase exfoliation have been reported [35][36][37][38][39]. Our group also synthesized some 2D nanomaterials such as black phosphorus [40][41][42][43][44], antimonene [45,46], and germanene [47,48] by the liquidphase exfoliation method. Given the general applicability of 1 3…”
