Abstract:Sonodynamic therapy (SDT) administered using low‐intensity pulsed ultrasound and sonosensitizers is an emerging, minimally invasive, targeted deep‐tissue therapy for solid tumors such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Initial clinical trials show promising outcomes for SDT treatments of GBM.
