Abstract:Pennisetum purpureum is a natural food used by guinea pig (Cavia porcellus) farmers in Haut Ogooué, Gabon. The objective of the present study was to investigate the nutritional and pharmacological contribution of Pennisetum purpureum Schumach leaves.
