Induced uniaxial magnetic anisotropy in disordered FeAl alloys

Abstract

In Fe-A1 alloys t.he dependence of the induced uniaxial niagnctic anisotropy on concent,ration, dircction, temperature, and time was investigated. The results werc compared with a theory given by NBel. Thc part G of the induced anisotropy is caused by A1-Al atom pairs in nearest neighbonr position and P is caused by complexes which consist of morc than two substitutional atoms. No any contribution of pairs of next nearest neighbours t o F werc found. In contrast to a theory by Taniguchi the interaction energy of atom pairs with the direction of magnetization shows a linear dependence on temperature. The formation of the induced anisotropy doesn't follow an exponential function on time and therefore i t isn't possible t o determine their magnitude and activation energy by usual mcthods.Es wurde die Konzcntrations-, Richtungs-, Temperahr-und Zeitabhangigkcit der induzierten einachsigen magnetischen Anisot.ropie in Fe-Al-Legierungcn untersucht mit dem Ziel, dic X6elsche Modellvorstellung der Richtungsordnung zii iiberpriifen. Dabei crgibt sich, daD G im wcsentlichen durch Parchcn benachbarter Al-Atome hervorgcrnfen wird. Ein Beitrag der ubernachsten Nachbarn zu F wurde nicht gefunden, wohl aber eine betrachtlichc induzierte Anisotropie auf Grund von Al-Atomkomplexcn. Die Wechselwirkungsenergie der Paare mit der Richtnng der Magnetisierung zeigt im Gegensatz zu den Uberlegungen von Taniguchi eine lineare Tempcraturabhangigkeit. Der Aufbau der induziertcn Anisotropic erfolgt nicht nach ciner einzigen zeitlichen Exponentialfunktion, so daD die iiblichen Vcrfahren zur Bestimmung ihrer ( h o l e und Aktivierrrngsenergie nieht anwendbar sind.
