Inference on adaptive progressively hybrid censoring schemes under partially accelerated life test for OLiHL distribution

Abstract: This article estimates failure times in step‐stress partially accelerated life tests (ALTs) using a new censoring scheme named adaptive Type‐I progressive hybrid censoring scheme (APHCS), where the lifetimes follow odd Lindley Half‐Logistic (OLiHL) distribution. Classical estimation method is used to estimate the parameter of the proposed distribution and the acceleration factor (AF) under progressive hybrid censoring and adaptive progressive hybrid censoring (APHC) schemes. Also, a step‐stress partially ALT i… Show more

“…Based on APY, the most recent topic from the cluster is "progressive hybrid censoring", with an APY score of 2021.0. Huang and Askin [44] and Levitin and Lisnianski [45] feature as the top-cited articles on reliability analysis and reliability optimization in our list, cited 118 and 183 times, respectively; and we find Alam et al [46] as the most recent article on progressive hybrid censoring.…”

“…Conversely, the AT-IIPC design has received little attention despite being useful for statistical inference. Some studies, including but not limited to Lin et al [ 11 ], Nassar and Dobbah [ 12 ], Okasha et al [ 13 ], and Alam et al [ 14 ], among others, examined some estimation challenges from some lifetime models in the presence of AT-IIPC data. For more details about other adaptive progressive censoring plans, one can refer to Ye et al [ 15 ], Sewailem et al [ 16 ], Panahi and Moradi [ 17 ], and Asadi et al [ 18 ].…”
