Abstract:The involvement of inflammation is described in all stages of atherosclerosis as well as in dyslipidemias, particularly in lipoproteins (especially oxidized LDL), coronary syndromes, hypertension, diabetes, infections, obesity, and also in the use of sexual replacement hormones.
