Influence of Gender Differences on the Perception of Quality of Life Among Oncology Patients: A Review

Abstract:This review article aims to investigate how gender differences alter the perception of quality of life among oncology patients. The studies which assessed the quality of life of patients with cancer among different genders were selected. The results show differences in perception of quality of life with respect to gender which can be attributed to many reasons. Gender differences secondary to the genetic or molecular level significantly impact the perception of quality of life and other related factors.
