Influence of nonlinear interactions and boundary effects on the propagation of energy in a one-dimensional particle chain

Abstract: A one-dimensional system (chain) of particles interacting with each other and with the substrate has been investigated by the method of computer modeling. Particles at the boundaries of the chain, which are considered separately, represent self-oscillating systems.
