Abstract:In this study, we report the influences of oxidation potential and holding time on the electrochromic (EC) stability of poly(3-methylthiophene) (P3MT) film during the electrochemical reaction. The cycle stability and transmittance changes of the film were investigated by optimizing the oxidation potential, and its chemical compositions were measured by x-ray photoelectron spectra after multiple electrochemical cycles. High oxidation potentials can increase the P3MT film color contrast and decrease its cycle st… Show more
π−Conjugated polymers have received increasing attention in electrochromic material research because their color change can be altered over a wide range by introducing electron-donor (D) and electron-acceptor (A) moieties. In...
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
