Information System for the Governance of University Cooperation

Abstract: Recognizing the impact of international cooperation in science and technology, all higher education institutions prioritize strategic partnerships. If setting up a partnership is important, its management, monitoring and evaluation of cooperation actions, regular communication among partners, and the ability to allow all parties to monitor the functioning of the partnership are more important. For good co-operation management, an information system becomes a mandatory condition. Abdelmaleek Essaadi’s Universit… Show more

“…Object-oriented methodology provides a unified method and framework for analyzing, designing, and implementing systems by simulating human way of thinking, decomposing the solution problem layer by layer, and realizing the mapping isomorphism of problem space and solution space. Object-oriented technology shows great potential and advantages in dealing with large and complex problems [28,29], which is essentially a method of analyzing, designing, and developing software systems using techniques such as objects, classes, encapsulation, and inheritance [30]. After continuous research and improvement, it has been widely employed in scientific research and engineering cases in various industries and has achieved many practical results [31][32][33].…”

“…It is for this reason that an information system in the university has become a compulsory condition for a good steering of the cooperation and the management of better partnerships, and to establish a solid policy for the development of the institutional relation. In order to achieve this goal the university has set up the SIMACoop information system for the management of university cooperation [1,[7][8]12]. This system has been deployed for the following reasons:…”

“…Creating and capturing value can be simply described as one of the BIM functions because information systems tend to offer management tools and support all users in their activities. Their use has become commonplace and an integral component of every activity [3]. Authors in [4] explored the BIM applications in the field of engineering management.…”
