Initial Presentation of G6PD with Hemolysis Associated with Methemoglobinemia: Case Report

Abstract: Background: Methemoglobinemia results from elevated amounts of oxidized hemoglobin in the blood with an ensuing change in oxygen dissociation curve and lack of oxygen delivery to tissue.
