Abstract:This study examines the adaptive capacity of a coastal fishing community in Brazil, focusing on the critical role of gender in shaping adaptive strategies. Using an adaptive capacity framework, we explore the domains of Assets, Flexibility, Organization, Learning, and Agency, disaggregated by sex.
