Inside Back Cover: Gold Nanoparticles in DNA‐Based Multilayer Films: Synthesis, Size Control, and Influence of the Multilayer Structure on Catalytic Properties (ChemNanoMat 2/2016)
Abstract:DNA‐based polyelectrolyte microcapsules containing a large number of well‐dispersed ultrasmall gold nanoparticles were obtained by reducing a gold precursor inside a polyelectrolyte multilayer. Layer‐by‐layer assembly gave DNA‐based multilayer capsules that were used as matrices to template the formation of 2‐3 nm gold nanoparticles. The resulting organic–inorganic hybrids were utilized for catalytic reduction of nitroaromatic compounds. More details can be found in the Full Paper by A. Zinchenko et al. on pag… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
