Abstract:Herein, the microstructure and tensile property of the tungsten fiber (Wf)‐reinforced W–Cu composite are investigated by both experimental and simulation methods. An electron backscattering diffraction (EBSD) analysis reveals the elongated <110> textured grains in the Wf compared with the matrix part, ensuring the small quantities of the grain boundaries along the direction perpendicular to the tensile direction. Tensile tests further confirm its improved strength by ≈8.0% (526.8 ± 5.3 MPa) compared with… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
