Instagram Sebagai Media Sosialisasi Program Unggulan Dan Kegiatan Di Sman 1 Pulau Punjung

Abstract

Instagram is one of the social media platforms that provides online image or video sharing services. Instagram provides a free, easy-to-operate, and easy-to-connect service with other social media. Given the large number of social media users, Instagram is also used as a promotional medium from various business agencies, private and government. In addition, this social media is also used to promote various excellent programs from an institution or educational institution. One of them is the @osissman1pulaupunjung account that uses Instagram to provide socialization about the school's superior programs and also other school activities to the community. This study aims to find out how to use Instagram as a socialization media for the flagship program of SMAN 1 Pulau Punjung on @osissman1pulaupunjung account. The concentration used is qualitative with the literature study method. The data sources obtained are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques through case studies and wawncara. The results of the study showed that Instagram as a medium for socializing school superior programs, the task of public relations is to publish activities and programs carried out in schools. However, the use of Instagram is still less effective in terms of interaction because people only look around.
