Integração e 'mandata': a administração provincial romana na correspondência entre Plínio, o Jovem e Trajano

Abstract

Resumo:A administração das províncias romanas não obedecia a uma legislação preestabelecida, baseando-se em instruções, mandata, dos Césares aos governadores. Diante disso, o objetivo deste artigo é propor a análise das instruções presentes na correspondência entre o imperador Trajano e Plínio, o Jovem, relativas ao governo da Bitínia, a partir do conceito de integração no Império Romano. Abstract:The administration of the Roman provinces did not obey a pre-established legislation, being based on instructions, mandata, of the Caesars to the governors.
