Abstract:Background: Pistacia chinensis subsp. integerrima (J. L. Stewart ex Brandis) Rech. f. belongs to family Anacardiaceae, is well known for usage of galls in traditional medicine. The galls in the apical meristem of plants are induced by aphid Baizongia pistaciae L infestation.
