Abstract: As a primary approach to nutrient propagation for many woody plants, cutting roots is essential for the breeding and production of Eucommia ulmoides Oliver. In this study, hormone level, transcriptomics, and metabolomics analyses were performed on two E. ulmoides varieties with different adventitious root (AR) formation abilities.
