Abstract:Background and aims Urban ornamental shrubs have significant potential for restoring cadmium (Cd)-contaminated soil. Simulated pot pollution was applied to Buxus sinica and Ligustrum × vicaryi to study their Cd enrichment characteristics and tolerance mechanisms.
