Intelligent control over the crossing traffic lights by graph theory

Abstract

In order to further solve the collocation and time control of the city's multi-crossing traffic lights, to meet many bypath, this paper will flow passage efficiency trigeminal junction with intersection traffic light control into Graph Theory of complex problems, and the traffic flow of five bypath makes a concrete analysis. Among them, using graph coloring in the theory and Powell, and combined with the operational research knowledge of mathematical software MATLAB, LINGO make visual window (GUI) and to solve issues and make planning.a side uv E ∈ if and only if the relationship between ( )That is, when there are edges between vertex u and vertex v , the range they correspond to will overlap.Owing to the definition of the interval graph, the compatible graph (figure 6) of traffic flow on the five fork is obviously not an interval graph, which is because of the fact that there exits (1) (10) J J ∩ ≠∅, that is, there exits the possibility of connection between (1) J and (10) J .The overlapping range of the traffic flow means the conflict between the green light time-period on the two crossing.
