Intelligent Electronic Password Locker Based on the Mechanoluminescence Effect for Smart Home

Abstract: Conventional electronic combination lockers are usually constructed with an active password input module, which requires the necessary electrical connections. In this work, a new passive smart electronic password locker based on photoelectric signal conversion is reported. When a ZnS-based mechanoluminescent material is subjected to an external force, the mechanical stimulus is converted into light energy. According to this light-emitting property, we developed an optical signal unit as the password input modu… Show more

“…[ 43 ] This advancement profoundly altered human–machine interaction methods. [ 44 ] Li and co‐workers [ 45 ] developed a flexible array‐type touch panel based on TENGs using ink writing technology [ 46 ] through an all‐printing method, encapsulating a silicone layer with silver electrodes (Figure 2b). When a plastic board in the shape of “SZU” was placed on the touch panel, the sensor array sensed touch contours based on voltage modulation.…”

“…Pd/NiCo 2 O 4 yolk–shell nanospheres demonstrate efficient reduction of nitroarenes . CuIr nanoalloys exhibit outstanding OER performance in strongly acidic conditions . Unfortunately, the increasing chemical space and structural complexity have prevented the screening of potential alloy electrocatalysts and the understanding of the intrinsic determinants of alloy catalytic activity. , At present, it is inefficient to design and develop excellent alloy electrocatalysts using traditional research methods, such as trial and error and the density functional theory (DFT) method.…”

“…The stress-temperature sensors, which relay information on both mechanical and thermal stimuli, have indeed garnered attention in various fields including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, smart skin, and structural analysis. These sensors enable us to maneuver effectively and safely within our surrounding environment. , Among the different sensing materials available, luminescent material offering the advantages of transmitting information through optical signals, providing visualization, reliability and fast response. Particularly, mechanoluminescence (ML) materials have the ability to convert mechanical stimulation into visible light emission. This unique property makes them ideal for stress-temperature sensors as they allow for remote control, self-powering, and the ability to visualize stress distribution. Therefore, dual-modal stress-temperature sensors based on ML materials are attracting great interest. For example, Pan et al developed a multifunctional stress and temperature sensor using CaZnOS/Er.…”
