Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) is a unique wireless Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) with high node mobility and fast topology changes. VANETs have developed into an exciting research and application region, especially in the presence of Artificial Intelligence. This kind of technology has a significant impact on Finance. Progressively, vehicles are being furnished with inserted sensors, preparation, and wireless communication capabilities. This vehicle development is accelerating in the world of technology, especially in providing more relaxation and comfort to change the established concept of driving exhaustion. These technologies range from passenger to vehicle and emergency communications, and the future carries many technologies that enhance comfort and relaxation in the vehicle. In addition, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) appear to have a highly dynamic and intermittently connected topology. This paper will present the challenges and perspectives of VANETs and their relation to AI and Finance, focusing on their communication and application challenges. There is a detailed discussion of the different categories of VANET applications and the vehicle-to-infrastructure protocol stack. However, it is considered a particular case of smart cities in V2I.
