Intense Pulsed Light as Monotherapy in the Management of Acne

Abstract: Acne vulgaris commonly affects adolescents and adults causing disgurement or scarring having psychological impact and reduces quality of life. This study conducted to study impact of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) over the lesion. An interventional study carried out over 81 (M: F - 37:44) acne patients attending dermatology OPD, 3 setting of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy (430 -1200 nm wavelength) were given to patients.
