Abstract

BACKGROUND There are many concerns about repeated measurement with self-report methods that are discussed in this paper. These points deserve to be considered by those using intensive, repeated self-report designs. OBJECTIVE To outline the potential issues with repeated measures intensive measurement studies. METHODS This is primarily a discussion/opinion paper. RESULTS Many concerns about intensive, repeated measurement designs are discussed. CONCLUSIONS There are many concerns that researchers using this methodology should consider and, if possible, address.
