Inter and intraobserver variability in the echocardiographic measurement of vegetations in infective endocarditis

Abstract: Introduction and objectives The indication for surgery to prevent embolism in infective endocarditis includes four clinical scenarios and three different echocardiographic measurements of the maximal vegetation diameter.
