Interacting With Rna Secondary Structure Through Sonification

Abstract: In this study, sonification strategies are explored by enabling the creation of audio files that represent the RNA secondary structure. A specific rule-set is employed which ensures that audio files generated for different RNA secondary structures will also yield distinct melodies, based on the underlying sound structural rules.
