Abstract: Pregnancy associated breast cancers (PABCs) exhibit increased aggressiveness and overall poorer survival. During lactation, changes take place in the breast tissue microenvironment that lead to increased macrophage recruitment and alterations in adipose stromal cells (ASC-Ls).
