Interactive Approaches to Training Sport Managers

Abstract

Interactive teaching methods have become one of the most essential components, which are widely used to teach students at all levels of the educational process. The interest in interactive teaching methods is growing due to the possibility of attracting students attention to the studied material, and, consequently, improving the quality of education. The transition from traditional methods of the educational process to new interactive technologies is caused by such factors as the emergence of a new young generation, changing requirements of employers and digitalization of modern society. The article describes the experience of implementing interactive methods to train sports managers at the Department of Sports Management at Volga Region Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism. The authors provide a brief literature overview of various types of interactive teaching methods and the examples of their use for lectures and practical exercises in the framework of discipline «Introduction to Professional Activity». The content of the discipline has been developed in accordance with the requirements of modern Russian Federal State Educational Standards. Nowadays, interactive teaching methods are one of the most effective forms developed to attract the attention of students and involve them in the educational process.
