Abstract:The emergence of the novel coronavirus SARSCoV-2 and the subsequent declaration by the World Health Organization of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has greatly impacted the lives of many all over the world. As the total number of reported cases increase globally, the number of pediatric cases have also steadily increased over the past several months. This has led to an expansion of scientific and clinical knowledge on COVID-19 in children.
