Interim report no. 6. corrosion and creep testing of coated reinforcing bars in concrete :

Abstract: The possibilities of protecting steel reinforcing bars embedded in concrete from corrosion by using organic barrier-type coatings are being investigated in this project. This corrosion is accelerated by the chloride ions of the two most commonly used deicing materials, calcium chloride and sodium chloride.
