Internal insulation systems and their assessment for historic buildings by hygrothermal simulation

Abstract: The paper examines possible solutions for the use of internal insulation in listed buildings. Massive thick walls of historic buildings represent large heat losses and the use of thermal insulation materials from the inside is a possible solution to increase the energy efficiency of historic buildings.
