Abstract

Precision farming is a relatively new concept that has recently gained popularity. It is based on the idea of using technology to gather and analyze data on various factors that affect crop growth and yield. By analyzing data in real time and responding quickly to changes in the environment, precision farming can help farmers optimize the conditions of their fields and maximize the potential of their crops, leading to increased yields and more efficient use of resources. This research work put forward a study focusing on the role of IoT in smart agriculture. Precision farming offers many benefits, including increased efficiency and accuracy, improved data and analytics, reduced environmental impact, improved compliance with regulations, improved communication with stakeholders, and increased profitability for farmers.
