“Internet of Things” for the Development of a Smart City

Abstract

The development of smart cities is a rapidly growing trend, with the Internet of Things (IoT) technology playing a critical role in their implementation. IoT devices, such as sensors and communication networks, allow for the real-time monitoring and analysis of data, which can be used to optimize city services, promote sustainability, and improve public safety. The material and methods used for the development of a smart city using IoT technology, such as planning and design, installation and configuration, data collection and analysis, and maintenance and support, are critical to ensuring the success of the project. By implementing IoT technology, a smart city can be created that is optimized for the needs of its residents and can significantly improve the quality of life in the city. However, challenges such as data security and privacy must also be addressed in the development of smart cities.
