Abstract: Paleoclimatic interpretations from the Caieira taphoflora, Pirabas Formation, Oligocene/Miocene of the eastern Amazonia, Pará, Brazil. The Caieira taphoflora, which is associated with the Pirabas Formation, is the best documented one for the Oligocene/ Miocene of the eastern Amazonia.
