Intestinal Injuries Associated with the Novasure Bipolar Device

Abstract: Background: The Novasure device employs biopolar thermal coagulation in order to ablate the endometrium. It is one of a class of blind, nonhysteroscopic techniques utilized for the treatment of abnormal (i.e., dysfunctional) uterine bleeding.
