Intracellular calcium stores mediate a synapse-specific form of metaplasticity at hippocampal dendritic spines

Abstract: Long-term plasticity mediated by NMDA receptors supports input-specific, Hebbian forms of learning at excitatory CA3-CA1 connections in the hippocampus.
