Abstract:Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis (CRSwNP) affects 0.5-4% of the world population and is present in ∼20% of patients with CRS. There are no definitive guidelines for the treatment of CRS largely due to the lack of consensus on the etiology of the disease.
