Intratest Trace Element Variability in Polar and Subpolar Planktic Foraminifera: Insights Into Vital Effects, Ontogeny, and Biomineralization Processes

Abstract: To use planktic foraminiferal tests as paleoproxy substrates, it is necessary to delineate environmental versus biological controls on trace element incorporation.
