Intrauterine contraception

Abstract: An intrauterine device (IUD), also known as intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) or intrauterine contraception (IUC) offers reliable long-acting reversible contraception; however, some patients can be hesitant to choose this option because of misconceptions about side effects and perceived complications.
