Landscape projects in Malaysia have been facing prevailing issues with impact on project performance. These issues could be anticipated and addressed at an earlier stage by implementing effective risk management system. From previous studies on risk management system implementation into construction project as suggested by various studies show that there is no formal risk management system and integration of risk management process into a landscape project lifecycles. Considering this explorative potentiality within the gap, this study attempts to advance a conceptual framework by integrating the risk management process into a landscape project lifecycles. The conceptual framework is based on extensive reviews of related literatures in the variables but extensively covers two areas namely; MS ISO31000:2010 risk management process (RMP) and landscape project lifecycle (PLC) in developing the conceptual framework. A hypothetical framework for landscape project risk management process is then produced from the study and is surmise beneficial to enhance the understanding and application of risk management among landscape professionals for managing risk in Malaysia landscape development.

Risk management was applied to many organizations. There was a risk of multiple and complex manner in the construction industry, because it has a variety of elements. The application of risk management was therefore used in solving problems that suffer from the past to create an alternative to proper functioning under conditions. This article studied the main application to risk management in the construction industry by the sample texts document. The applying of risk management in the construction industry was 3 stages of risk management which were the risk analysis, risk assessment, risk control and follow-up, which was used to store information in the past and brainstorm by virtue of experience, expert tips and techniques to determine the risk analysis and risk evaluation of a mathematical methodology combined with the master planning of construction work to analyze, evaluate the risk under different condition and situations. Control, risk monitoring and risk assessment were a small amount so it should be a topic of research in future rely on notes and update the plan. The three important things for the applying of risk management in the construction industry were personnel, information and continuous learning.

Risk in the age of globalization has become part of everyday life. Risk exists everywhere, in every area of life. One of these is the construction industry, where risk is a constant element in a big puzzle. This is true for construction projects in Iraq too, where official statistics indicate that most construction projects in Iraq always suffer from delay during the completion period and a significant increase in cost. Therefore, it is necessary to find a way to deal with this certain mater, meaning risk management. Risk management does not mean that the project is without risk, but means that dealing with the risk in different measures to ensure the success of the construction project. Risk management consists of several stages, the most important of which is the identification and assessment of the risks of the project. The objective of this paper is to identify and assess the risks in construction projects in Iraq by combining SWARA and COPRAS methods. To achieve the objective of the study, ten criteria for risk assessment were identified. Later the weights of criteria was determined using the SWARA method. The next step was identification and ranking of risks by using the COPRAS method. The result showed that mismatched plans with documentation, inaccurate surveys and preliminary data of the project, unqualified contractors, unexpected nature of the earth, and delayed implementation due to the contractor's capital deficiency were most important risk in construction projects in Iraq. Therefore, in order to tackle risks in Iraqi projects, there must be consideration of these risks, so as to achieve the goals of the project.
