Introduction: Charting New Ground in the Study of Ottoman Foreign Relations

Abstract: This essay proposes a revisionist historiography of Late Ottoman foreign relations and (para)diplomacy and examines previously overlooked forms, venues, geographies, and levels of Ottoman engagements with the international.
