Abstract:CubeSats are a popular type of spacecraft categorized as nanosatellites. In 1999, Professors first developed these devices at California Polytechnic State University and Stanford University to offer an affordable and accessible experience to students. Data information updated up to May 31st, 2023, shows that 2286 Nanosats have been launched, where 2105 were CubeSats. Moreover, 82 countries have nanosats, whereas Latin America has 44 CubeSat.
